With over eight years of experience as a fully qualified teacher, Steph’s mission is to build confidence and instil a love for learning. Originally from Australia, Steph has lived in the UK for 18 years and brings warmth, energy and enthusiasm to every lesson. Recognised with a Highly Commended Award for Pearson’s National Teacher of the Year in a secondary school (2002), she takes pride in delivering tailored, supportive lessons that truly make a difference.

 

Steph’s bubbly and fun personality helps learners feel at ease, especially those who may feel nervous or anxious. She has a strong passion for working with students with neurodiversity, special educational needs and those who lack confidence or enthusiasm. Her empathetic, patient, and engaging approach creates a positive learning environment, where students feel safe and encouraged to push their learning boundaries. She is committed to explaining concepts in creative and engaging ways until they truly ‘click’! Steph also provides support with exam preparation and strategies tailored to each learner’s unique learning style and needs.

Steph will be offering online maths support to students in KS2, KS3 and KS4.
