Jodie

Primary Tutor

Jodie has been working with children for over 10 years and a teacher for 7 years. During her time in the classroom, Jodie taught across the different key stages from Early years to Key Stage 2, including preparing students for the KS1 phonics screening and KS1/2 SATs.

During her time in school, Jodie gained a national qualification in middle leadership which led to her taking on the role of special educational needs and disability coordinator. While SENDCo, she largely focused on improving communication and language skills across all year groups in all subjects and promoted inclusive learning for all children. 

Alongside tutoring, Jodie runs her own business, delivering play, art and sensory sessions to children in early years. She also teaches KS1 and KS2 Geography to adults with learning disabilities.

Jodie will be offering online and face-to-face sessions in the Leeds area.
